HPI Nitrostar 25
Hi all,
I'm new here so I hope this is the right place to ask. I have an HPI Savage 25. The crank shaft pin that connects to the connecting rod snapped off. I believe the only thing to do is replace the crankshaft. The part number is 1424. HPI website shows the part as discontinued. The replacement is supposedly part 1459. Is this a drop-in replacement? Is it 100% compatible? Do I need to make any mods? Does anyone have an old engine I can buy? I live in Toronto, Canada so if there's a LHS anyone knows that may have the part or any hobbyists in the area who can help, I would appreciate it.
