Hey RB, just be aware that, in my opinion, the plane is going to be a bit underpowered with the DLE 20. I am flying mine on a PTE36 at this point and it is by no means a speed demon. Build it as light as you can. I know there is another member (Hot Rod Todd?) flying this plane on an OS 108. As far as I know this is the smallest engine used on this airframe and it makes a bit more power on the top end than the DLE 20 will. So, with that said, be aware that you will be flying the airplane with an engine that is at the very bottom of the required power range. I'm not trying to discourage you or piss on your parade as I'm sure you are a very competent pilot, I just want to make sure you know what you're getting into.

I also scrapped the beam mount configuration and built a firewall since the largest beam mount gasser engine that would fit between the factory rails still didn't fly the plane as confidently as I would prefer. Of course, I like to have a lot of reserve power so take that into account.
