Bob - very elegant engineering solution. It puts your skewers directly in tension should the main LG be pulled aft. Great solution. m_gutzmer - my 50cc LG failed on an irregularity in a mowed St Augustine grass field (crawfish mound). One might argue that the structure was not designed to absorb that kind of shock, but on my field, it happens occasionally.
