In 1986 I got my first Saito - a 50 that went on the nose of Kougar #4. It flew so well that when the .56 came out, I got one and mounted it. Discovered the .56 really liked at 12x6 prop and the gear legs were a tad bit too short for my style of slam bang touch and goes, so I made new legs 1 inch taller. Worked well except in grass. I guess the .62 would/will be awesome.

My standard takeoff was throttle up turn left and pull. Most of my 21 Kougars have died from altitudes of less than 7 feet and cartwheels. I got so good that I could tell when a Kougar was about to snap. Oh, I also used to add 1 inch to the rudder and move the whole fin assembly so the rudder hinge line was over the elevator hinge line - stopped the Dutch Roll tendency.
