Don't let anyone on a forum discourage your efforts. Your builds are always good, and the speed in which you get things done is amazing. Far better to do and learn, with results to show, then to get bogged down in details that result in nothing.

I appreciate the meticulous detail for those that put the time in to do it, but equally I enjoy the stand off efforts as well. I myself lean more to the stand off, as these are built to run, The fact you are battling with a Stuart and a Chaffee says it all to me,. A key thing with an RC tank is the availability of spare parts. Your approach makes the efforts very saleable. People know they can easily get the spare parts if they need them. A custom built, one off approach would never create that confidence. Well done I say. Your logic is rock solid.
