It was darn near a "movement" this morning, as the Kadet leaped into the air, on her maiden voyage.
The Kadet doesn't require much runway when it's powered by a 91 four stroke.
My test pilot stuck with it, and got the Kadet trimmed out, but wanted to land immediately after doing so.
I took the sticks and flew the rest of the flight, including the landing. By varying the throttle, I could tell that the model needed down thrust. I also discovered that the 13X8 prop wouldn't let the model slow down.
I took the Kadet home, and added down thrust. I changed to a prop with less pitch, and I tighted up the wheel pants, which were working themselves loose,
I'd call the day a success.
The Kadet flies well, and is quite responsive to control input.
She's ready for another go, tomorrow. I can already see that I am going to like my Senior Sport.
