Americana:
Being July 4th weekend, small towns like to put out lots of american flags along 'Main' street.
The cream colored building appears to be a 50's gas station still being used as an auto repair business.
The route to the field was quicker via back roads versus the interstate highways. Besides, the 'back road' is almost a straight arrow to the site plus the road is 'semi truck' wide, being part of the old 'highway' system before interstates were built.
Right at the back of the club's field was a local, private railroad. 'Private', being track that serves local industry has, for the most part, been dropped a long time ago by the major railroads. Small enterprisers, looking to run a railroad, bought the abandoned track and make a profit, serving small industries. The small railroads have just a hand full of employees where they all do multiple jobs (including the CEO working right along side the employee) instead of just one dedicated job, making it much easier to make a profit. The old American way of doing business: you do what ever is necessary to get the job done for the customer (good and timely service instead of just a cheap price). There are quite a few of these across the USA.
