Here are a couple pictures of the current setup. There is still some slop in the system because of flex in the pushrod, nylon servo arms and control horns. As you can see the linkage goes between the wing and the aileron which leaves a very short arm for the aileron horn and is part of the "slop" problem but I can't connect at the bottom of the aileron and I really don't want to go out the top of the wing with the linkage. How much 'slop' are you talking about? More than 10% of the flaperon chord when measured at the trailing edge? I had similar worries about the friese ailerons and flaps on my Seniorita, but then I measured the acceptable 'slop' limits on my bigs and scales those numbers down. I was well withing tolerance, provided my ailerons are balanced correctly. That's where it took me three tries to build a decent set of ailerons and flaps to match. Weight distribution is a little bit harder to figure out when your chord is only
1 1/4 inch.
