Took the Hurri out to do some taxi tests yesterday. I found it is tippy, wanting to go up onto it's nose if I'm not careful, especially on a downwind taxi. I am going to put a few washers under the trailing edge of the gear mounts to kick the wheels forward a degree or two. I also found my strut covers were too long. Watched a video of my subject and ended up cutting 1/2" off of the bottom of the covers. It should really help prevent any chance of them hooking the dirt. I also found my tailwheel steering rod needs another brace, to keep the wheel from kicking sideways and sticking there. The motor ran great until I tried some revs - it did not take long to heat up. I still feel that the air intake will work once the plane is airborne. I just have to limit my running time on the ground - especially when the temp is in the 90's. In the first pic there is a full scale crop duster flying in the background.
