That's the old Catch-22.

How do you know if you're going to like it?

So you get an inexpensive model to try.

And you don't like it.

. . . on the other hand . . .

You get the model that looks fantastic at the hobby shop.

And you make a $600 smoking hole in the ground.

And you don't like it.



The answer is to go meet up with someone who has flown before or go visit a club/model airfield. Start off with some good advice.
