Telemetry right now is still kind of budding. The idea of it sounds great, but the costs are restrictive. The only telemetry option I can see being useful for a tank is the voltage. Even then you should be able to feel when your tank is starting to die.
I have a telemetry system set up in one of my cars, but I can't honestly see a big reason to install one on the tanks. The system is light so weight isn't an issue, but man can the costs rise
