I don't think it will be ready before the end of summer. I still have plenty to do. I am happy with the two-piece wing and will fly it. Some work was required to perfect the joining fit and some filler was needed at the fuse seat. I have no idea about weight or cg yet. I will use dual batteries / switches for Rx and another for ignition. I went to a local automotive paint retailer and purchased etch primer, thinner and acrylic for colour. Kit supplied piano wire u/c. The model has spent a lot of time without work being done but now that it is nearing completion I am more keen to work on it. I wanted to keep as much of the cowl as possible but access and cooling made it necessary to cut all the way. We have been enjoying some excellent weather these past few weeks so I have been flying more than building. I'll post more pics when she's completed.
