Just a quick update. I wrote an email to Eric yesterday explaining the situation and my thought about the mounts again, now that I started building the Diamond. He agreed and will consider to ship the aluminium mounts in future diamond kits. I think its great when manufactuers listen and adapt to customer feedback. Thumbs up for Eric and Aviation Design.
