Big Bro's Flexible Core:

Once the 3D mould is made from the initial template, it is position on a stand for better handling and then prepared with a wax / PVA release system. Several layers of glass fibre woven cloth and uni-direction carbon fibre lengths are prepared to be laid up on the mould to be saturated and cured in an epoxy resin. Once laid up - excess epoxy is dabbed from the layup with a paper towel to eliminate excess weight, before the product is placed within a heated box, so as to ensure good curing for maximum strength.
