Default YGE fire / Programing

Would like to know if I made a mistake or just had a faulty ESC, YGE 90HV, Plettenberg Advance 30-10.
this is the values I used with the card to program the esc.

Timing : 24 deg
Brake : Acro
cut off- slow down
batt- Lipo
cutoff voltage - 3 2
#cells 10
active freewheel -on
start up- plane middle
PWM frequency - 8khz
start up power 16%

i set the end points as described in the manual with the exception of placing the receiver in analog , I didn't know how to do this so a call to futaba and was told not needed on a 14 ch futaba. So I went ahead and set end points with the throttle 3 clicks from low to ensure the brake would work, I also set the brake about 7 clicks up or around 25%.

Power was lower than expected with this combo, it flew but seemed limited, I did hear some squealing when applying power after a down line, only flew 5 min flights, prop came loose twice and that's what I thought was squealing but apparently I had a more severe issue but failed to recognize it.

Does anything jump out as being incorrect?? I don't plan on running another YGE but would like to know if I caused my own grief. I did cycle thru the settings and double checked everything prior to putting it in the plane.

My plane received heavy damage from the fire and subsequent off runway landing from this and I would really like to know if it was self induced. Thanks Cliff
