It's about convenience. Some folks, I'm sure, are completely able and willing to build. But not everyone has the time to do it. BVM ensures that you will have an expertly assembled jet with not much left to do to get her airborne.

Sorry, I get the convenience part of it, trust me! I am out of much of the RC game until the kids get a little older. Plus the $ is just not where it was years ago...hence, pick at it by building along.
I come from the days of the BVM Sport Shark, Aggressor II, early Sabre, then came the Maverick, with wings injected/sheeted like the F-16 was done. I thought I was spoiled then!!!
I have considered selling my Sabre (p-70) set up since I don't fly but a couple of times a year.
Heck, I have a 3/4 built BVM Balsa Bandit and an Bobcat XL kit in the garage now. No time + No Money = No fly!
