I would blend it in favor of the kerosene, there will will still be plenty of ether to ignite the mixture, ether does not have much energy, the power comes from the kerosene
Yesterday I tapped the head bolt holes in my Fox .46 with the .50 liner and piston to 5x40 and mounted the extra .50 head. The 5x40 bolts fit the 6x32 sized holes perfectly. So, I still have a working .50 conversion.
