I used part of a sink stopper linkage rod to mount my fueling valve.I bent the rod into a L shape then bolted the rod to the firewall, and drilled out one of the holes on the linkage to fit the refueling valve. It fits flush with the inside of the cowling.All that was needed at that point was to drill a hole in the cowl where the fuel valve lined up.It worked out great.
