One of the greatest events in my modeling career happened today! Yesterday, during the final landing approach of my GUNFIGHTER a probable down draft caused the ship to slam into the roof of the highest industrial building in the area. Circumstances made it impossible to retrieve then and seemingly the next morning as well. Fortunately, I mentioned my dilemma to some modeling enthusiasts in a nearby business and went home to contemplate further action. Low and behold, three (3) of these gentleman showed up to my front door with my plane that was only slightly damaged (vertical stab area damage & destroyed prop).
I feel deeply indebted to these heroic rescuers of what used to be called my "pristine condition GUNFIGHTER" and have committed myself and my services to them for the duration.
Breaking off the attack now and returning to base.
