I ended up using a canopy from Park Flyer Plastics http://parkflyerplastics.com/cart/in...index&cPath=46 for mine.

Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact one used. It is about 10 inches long and 2 1/2 wide. It was the widest for the length and may have not been in War Bird category. I did have to narrow the cockpit opening by adding balsa strips along the length. Maybe 1/4 by 1/8 thick. Easy enough to do after fuse is built and canopy trimmed.

I think it looks OK. I did modify my kit so it looks more like an F-51H, and those had a different canopy anyway. If I ever get the clear coat on and canopy glued, I'll post some pictures. I've built a lot of planes over the years, and I must say the construction methods on this one are different.
