I maidened mine two weeks ago. It flies great without a gyro. But it is "that much" better with the cortex gyro. In the landing pattern and final its hands off once you have everything tuned. I just hold flair and that is it. I strongly recommend it. My first jet with a gyro and I love it. I will put another one in my bandit MKii.
