After about 50 flights and a few bad landing I managed to crack one of my fiberglass land gear legs. I had carried out the landing gear mod using an aluminium angle to tie the landing gear block to the firewall and this did its job no damage to the land gear block at all.
I have made a replacement landing gear leg out of 0.100" 2024 aluminium I have it angled back to keep the wheels in the same spot as the original. I made two landing gear assemblies one thicker at the base this is the one that I decided to install as I think it has the right flex for the job. After two sets of wheels pants I have now decided to leave them off.
I also have Revolver number 2 ready to be built once number one bites the dust. Number two will have dual rear elevator servos and pull-pull rudder. After a lot of practice I have managed to get the revolver to do upright flat spin I just wasn't using enough power in my initial attempts.
