Yeah it would be great to get together with a bunch of guys on these threads. Fly and yap and eat. Be a heck of a good time and a major learning experience for all I am sure.
Speaking of which, 2nd week end of next month I will pretty much get to do some of that. The Control Line RingMaster Flython is then and only an hour away from where I presently live. Some friends that I post with frequently will be there. Be nice to actually meet them in person. I wont be flying as my RM variant bi-plane will not be flight worthy till next year.
And with all that has been going on in our lives, I did not renew my AMA. So no flying for me till next year.
This is my Rm Bi Plane variant. Like I aid Control Line. But since I can no longer trust myself to stay on my feet flying CL it has a throttle on 2.4 radio, and my control handle has the transmitter mounted to it. And the throttle is on a trigger. Works a charm. I can land before i get in trouble.
My meds play heck on me.
