Here are the final "fine tuned" adjustments that makes the GUNFIGHTER fly so beautifully with my SPEKTRUM DX7s transmitter. To enjoy adequate elevator authority for spectacular aerobatics my low rate elevator is adjusted for plus/minus 1/2 inch (12 mm). My low rate aileron deflection is plus/minus 5/16 inch which is half way between the instruction book recommendation between high and low control throw. The added rudder control rate needs to be plus/minus one inch or greater to enjoy marginal knife edge flight in my experience. All servos are set at 100%. Elevator low rate DR set at 55 and EXPO at 35 provides very smooth and precise elevator control. I am also back to using the GWS 10X8 SF prop that works best for my missions.
There is a very good chance that the GUNFIGHTER will end up being my most flown P-51. It's just too easy to walk out to the small field near my house to fly now that I am finally dialed in with my dedicated belly landing machines.
