Yes Randy, should be easier, but a have a big problem, the weight of the canopy is 550 gr. i spoke with one of the best aircraft shops here in Italy "8fly" and they told me that this piston can't raise this weight. When i did the tests, i also used those hinges, the only difference is that they are of plastic (pic), and even worked.
If i put the arm with the servo in position 1 in the pic nothing happens but if i put it in position 2 in the pic the servo raises it, however, the piston must be mounted for sure in position 1,and for this i need power so i don't know how to solve this.... Randy, is that Miss Geico yours?
