RE: GP CHRISTEN EAGLE

The BME 50 is a excellent choice, as is the DA50, Taurus52, ZDZ50, etc, etc. The Fuji50 is also a good choice, but the only draw back with it is no electronic ignition. You'd be much better off having a electronic ignition on any engine in any plane. It's just so much easier to start. Just my opinion, but I'm sure a lot of the guys/gals here will agree. With a Fuji50 or any engine with a magneto ignition, be prepared to build extraordinary muscles from flipping it a thousand times or get a big starter like the Magatron. Go electronic ignition, you won't be sorry.
As for the Christen Eagle, you mean you guys haven't flown yours yet? Just kidding. I have been comparing this to their Pitts. The dimensions are almost identical (has anyone noticed this?). I've seen a couple of the Pitts this summer, one with gas the other with glow. Both where a outstanding plane. If GP has done a good job with the Eagle like they did with the Pitts and the Patty (covering & building), I'm there! Let's hear (read) some reports when you guys get yours flying!
