Yeah thats what I was afraid of, I will probably beef mine up as well. I even considered using a typical external rod with a control horn. Well see how once I can get in there and look at it.

I actually found some play with the flaps with this torque rod setup, so I hysol'd a couple of pieces of thin brass sheets in the slot to close it up and for a better overall action.
