You won't have that problem with the Gladiators, mate. I've been using them for quite some time. They wear very well. I just wish they'd use better foam for the inserts, as they tend to break down faster than I wear out the tread. I started making my own foams out of egg-crate foam. But you might try buying some "closed-cell foam" inserts. I hear they last longer.
