Moot point now as I built a completely new aileron. So far so good even with two coats of Balsa Rite.
Looking about, I found my two rolls of Super Shrink Coverite. One white , the other Cub yellow. A mere 15 or better years old kept in it's plastic sleeve and it hasn't stuck to itself. Even that, I'll pour on some adheasive. 30 feet each, it is a save of all saves. I wonder what else I have that I've forgotten about.
fuse decovering and am finding little damage from impact. Seems the gear took a lot of energy and passed little back. Upper cabanes are straightened and a few stringers scarf joints reglued. I'm impressed but I'm gearing up for the one piece lower wing details to be worked out.

Cheers
