Thanks for the words of encouragement. If I could do CAD drawings and had a 3D printer or laser cutter, I could build my projects easier, faster and more accurately than I do using my hammer and hacksaw method. But I'm just a stubborn old coot who is too old to teach new tricks. I am attempting to build that drivers cupola now and I think what I drew up on paper is going to work out in styrene. I hope it works out. So far- so good (but I have said that before). If you know already, will your grandkid be a boy or girl? If it's a boy he can be named after a number of tanks --- Sherman, Stuart, Abram, etc. If it's a girl, ya gotta go with Matilda ........!!!!
