Mal ...... I just spent the afternoon building my idea on how to do it with a linkage arrangement and It was not successful. It worked in my mind, it worked on paper, but didn't work in styrene. Hey .... at least I got two out of three . LOL I was considering a reduction gear train of some sort too, but there also is a space limitation that exists. I think the answer is to teach the driver to stick his fat head out of his hatch wearing a helmet and goggles. If that was good enough for Patton it should be good enough for him. Right now I'm just bummed out about this. But tomorrow is another day
