It's a the 48in version Chris, and flies quite well. Got the plan from Pondy in 1976 that shows both 42 and 48 span wings.
Originally in 1977 I built 48 size with a sparky O&R 23 in it, that flew but when it arrived was the problem. Very heavy and it got damaged.
Fixed it up and put a Green Head 15 in it, and that was a good combination until it DTd onto a barb wire fence and demolished it.
This above one is using a couple of bits of the original and I stuck the DEEZIL into it as more or less a fun flier, and that it is. As said, it goes okay and is quite stable.
