I'm extremely happy with the prices online. Local prices were outrageous for a few years until the LHS stopped carrying it, so now I'm ordering from Tower.
I just picked up two "Box-o-Balsa", some stick bundles and a veritable Spruce Goose of sheeting, and the cost was very acceptable.
The grade is incredibly good, too. Much better than a few years ago, and a lot more consistent.
