Your right about those local hobby shop prices. Twenty five years ago I was building Cox powered free flight planes. I'd say that one of those planes would cost about $20 in today's prices but even back then they local hobby shop prices cost me $65. I could have bought a Sig RC airplane kit cheaper than they charged me for a very small amount of sticks and sheets.
