On the same photos, the fifth one, we can see that the scissors link at the bottom of the landing strut is facing forward. Is there a reason?
I think that they shall be facing aft. Not that I am an specialist but most scissorslink at the bottom of the landing strut are facing aft.

Thanks for the input about the overpriced retract. At that price they do have to bebuggless… I will wait untill i start assembling before making my mind. HobbyKing, Lado & Sierragiant seems to have an alternatives. Still the E-Flight assembly made for the Spitfire would be the logical choice. I am just quizzed about the price….

Do you know about other alternatives?
