I Just Bought a E Flight Carbon Z Cub and it seems to be a pretty nice plane except for one small problem I have noticed . Every ball link on the plane is missing the little half moon shaped piece that should be between the ball and the control surface . When you put the bolt through the ball link there is a little half moon shaped piece that goes on next and that allows the ball link to swivel properly . On my plane every ball link was missing the little half moon shaped piece . On my maiden flight the elevator link fell apart because I did not have it properly locktighted. Luckily I was not airborne yet and I was able to stop with no damage . I then replaced all six ball links with new Du-Bro Ball links . . Other than that this seems to be a fantastic plane. I am wondering if anyone else has noticed this or am I the only one.Are they okay with out this little half moon piece? as long as they are lock tighted ? Maybe with lock nuts ? It just seems so much better with the proper ball links in place .
