Went to Lowes. The corrugated tubing for water tank gas line was to small diameter. Possibly I was not looking at the right tubing.

The heater hose sounds like a great idea. I was afraid the heat would melt it.
If I had my way, the Moki could stand a bit more rumble.

That's exactly what I had in mind. I can use the added weight. Will make some thin cuts in the copper where it clamps on to the exhaust stack so it will clamp tightly.
Permatex Ultra Copper should help seal it and keep it removable.
I'll include a picture when I get the cowl back off.
