Pete If you understand all that is in post # 2 you should know what happened to your bird, That said it is vary important to practice slow flight with all menuvers, in all models, in different wind conditions and more so in the hi wing loaded birds .

Now if you would have had a air speed squawker set about 5 to 10mph above stall speed you may have saved your bird.
