With out a video it is hard to guess at the cause from the info given.

some questions.

Since it is a wood kit, have you recently checked for wing warps?

Did you build in any Washout?

You say this was a normal landing approach, Do you normally land with 3/4 tank of fuel?

Did you increase the "normal" pattern speed to accommodate the increased fuel weight?

What was your bank angle on the turn to final?

Do you use rudder on final to make coordinated turns?

With the answers to these questions you may figure out what the possible cause of your stall was. It is most likely that it was not any one thing but a combination of the variables that has ganged up on you.
Unfortunately someone that has seen the incident is only guessing at what happened, there are to many variables to make a positive determination with the available info.

The bottom line is that a stall can only happen if you exceed the critical angle of attack. At this point only you can determine which combination of factors led to exceeding the critical angle of attack. There is a lot of info in this thread to list the most common variables for you to think about.

I wish you luck in determining what happened and in your repairs.
