Ya _ _ _ always thinking of a better way.
I now see no need to remove the wing struts from the fuselage bottom.
A permanent screwed attachment with double small nuts to lock such that there is no slop but can be rotated. That would also allow an attachment that can be adjusted for length of the struts.
Just snap-out the struts under the wings and rotate them toward the tail on each side of the fuselage.
