I'm not sure Jeff originally sold the kit for that much, but it is no doubt worth it. I always told Jeff he didn't charge enough for such a complete kit--this plus the kit is no longer in production. Jeff's kits are on indefinite "limbo". They may someday be re-released, but I have no idea when.
The Simla is a nice-flying plane and is perfect for the guy who wants to bring and fly something different. It is also historical, celebrating it's 50th year in 2015. Not every plane has a story behind it now-a days.it.
