well, my Christen Eagle is ordered . I just couldn't resist any longer (wife will probably kill me [X(]). Next I will order the DA-50 and a Slimline muffler for it. Not sure if I want smoke. Might just add to much weight. Don't now yet. Hmmm...maybe the Slimline Showtime Smoke Pro pump, or the Sullivan SkyWriter. What do you guys think ? Will the smoke tank fit right on the CG ?
Another question I have is about the firewall: I always read that people pin the firewall on the GP Pitts. Do you mean the box, or actually the firewall to the fuse or both ? Any ideas, comments or pictures on this ? Also, is it necessary to glass the firewall and box on this one.
What will be your servo choice for this bird ? I am thinking JR 2721's on ailerons and rudder, 4721's on elevators and 531's on throttle and choke.
How many batteries will you guys be using ? 2 for radio equipment and 1 for ignition, or just 1 for the radio equipment and 1 for ignition ? I think if using smoke, I might need a second radio equipment battery to supply sufficient power with all the high torque equipment. Not sure yet.
