He is flying over people, houses, highways and near an aircraft approach w/o communication with approaching aircraft.
I have not seen all the video's but the ones I did see he is staying over the field. And he has stated he has or at least tried to do so. You are looking out of a wide angle video that he is not using for guidance. He is doing no different than most soaring enthusiasts, except he has made a video.
