The ones I have been using seem to be a real challenge to get the charging lead to sit in the recess properly, and have started just pulling the lead out and have it dangle in the wind. Can't remember the brand I usually use, but it seems to require adding shims so the charging lead has a space around it so the charging lead from the charger/tester can slip into the hole.
