What is your is your weight before the lead
how far back from the leading edge are you balancing it
I also used fiberglass and latex paint .75 oz glass
mine is 30lbs before adding 6 1/2 lbs of lead mounted on brackets on the engine that extend the lead up near the front of cowl also some on the cowl with amazing goop glue
at this weight it still flys well and is actually a floater. My maiden was a dead stick wheels up landing because the engine overheated. Since that time I have had five more very nice flights. I did have to shim the gear more forward as it would not taxi at all. Twice it flipped over during a high speed taxi and smashed the vertical stab.
