I made the forked elevator pushrod like the instructions say to do but it is very tight and doesn't like to slide due to the friction of the forked wires rubbing on the fuse as it passes through the holes. The instructions don't say anything about a bend in the pushrod wires but I'm thinking this may be necessary. Are the instructions wrong? Is there supposed to be some kind of bend so the wires aren't straight (besides the one that says that each fork (at the end) should be 2 1/2" from the other one)?
