Oh yes, do not get me wrong, if I had to pick a choice (and not pay for it) I would get a Futaba every time. We even have a few upstairs, but I decided to go with the radios the majority of customers will get or have. TBH, I have been using FS for years and never had a range issue, but I rarely go more than 300ft on the ground and 500ft or so in the air. I know when I go FPV though it is Futaba every time, I cant risk something that big and expensive dropping out of the air. I got an old Futaba FlySport 4 72mHZ that still flies as good as the day I got it.... 5+ years ago lol. It is a very old TX and mode 1 at that!
