Tell you the truth I like the plain and simple futaba skysport. I've seen too many people on the sidelines of a battle trying to remember what endpoints, throw %, rate, etc they need to get up and going.
I do have a DX8 for all my aerial toys so not scared of programmable radio's, just don't see the need on a tank.
Thats my radio of choice. At first i would buy a new radio for each tank but once the 2.4 came out i just buy a new receiver for that radio. It does take a certain receiver made just for the Skyport 2.4 but they are easy enough to find and are not expensive. The only reason i used to buy multiple radios was again to have a complete system for every tank but it is just not needed any more with the 2.4's.
