Which VVRC did you get the 1/4-32 or the CM-6? The 1/4-32 fits like a glove in the cowl. The cantilever wings is great. I don't like messing with the struts myself, I have them on my Carbon Z Cub with the pins and clips and it is a pain.
So far I have about 6 flights on it. The only concerns I have about it so far. The wing tubes in the wings had to be sanded to get the wing tube to slide in without breaking something, and a side door along with the top hatch would have been helpful, so I have my windshield screwed on instead of glued. I have the Dubro 6" tundra tires (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXD770&P=ML) instead of the stock ones, and am using the Dubro Adjustable Control Horn (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXD932&P=7) for the ailerons and elevator. Of course I am using the Power HD 1501MG servos(http://www.redwingrc.com/index.php?m...products_id=40) except the throttle. The spinner is a 3 1*2 parabolic Tru Turn. 18X10 3 blade because I'm at 5000'. So far...worth every penny. Got the Hangar 9 floats too, and it already has the blind nuts for them.
