It's been awhile since this thread was active but I've just gotta ask - - does anyone remember when the original CG Eaglet came out???? I just came upon one that had apparently been crashed a long long time ago. Most of the front end (forward of the rear wing holddown dowel) is gone but I'm going to rebuild it anyway, to go with my "newer" 25-yr old Eaglet-50. This older one does NOT have the plastic wing tips but it does have a rather "crusted" Supertigre .29 that I'm going to take apart and HOPEFULLY get going again.
Wings are OK (a miracle) and tail has issues but is easily repairable.
Anyway, I'm just wondering how old this bird might actually be. Decals on the side say Eaglet, not Eaglet-50 like my "new" one does, so I'm thinking this is older.
